St. Gabriel’s Children’s Home, Hatton, Sri Lanka

The St Gabriel’s children’s home provides food, shelter and education for displaced girls of all ages in Hatton, Sri Lanka.

Msafiri In Action took 5 boxes of stationary, including scientific calculators, when they visited Sri Lanka with AuSLMAT in June 2011; and with the help of dedicated financial donations, shipped 6 tea chests of donated clothes, shoes stationary, cooking utensils and pots and pans in May 2011. Through a collaborative effort with AuSLMAT the girls joined us in Galle where we had excursions and meals together.
