Johns Hill tree planting project, Emerald, Victoria

On a cold, wet and muddy early morning in June 2012, Marie joined Marianne and her colleagues at the Lions Club of Lysterfield to plant trees on a reforestation project.  The project was located in Emerald and led by the Johns Hills landcare group who work with the community and volunteers to restore bushland and support sustainable farming. Our day was made educational and fun by Karen and her team with mid morning snacks and hot drinks.
